James SWITZER who has resided in Montgomery County 58 years died Saturday (sic) a.m. at the age of 82. He had lived upon the farm he died during all the time he had resided in that county. The funeral occurred on Sunday and interment made at the family burying ground Crawfordsville.

James SWITZER died Friday (sic) after a long illness. He had reached the advanced age of 82. His funeral took place on Sunday at the residence of his son Abraham Switzer and internment at the family burial grounds. Rev. Stafford delivered the funeral sermon.
